Make the process for students going into SEN school a quicker and easier move.
Students who are expelled or are considered not suitable to attend mainstream schools shouldn't be taken out of education or isolated due to their needs. There are far too many students who slip through the net and are ignored by the system.
Education is the key to ensure the success of our children - SEN or not. We are not enabling students to fulfill their potential if they are not attending school due to circumstances beyond their control. More provisions need to be set up to ensure that the increasing number of SEN students are catered for. LA's need to fund more provisions to ensure that all SEN students are educated to the same level as mainstream.
