I feel there is too much fuss about nothing and if this goes through the Bank of England can get back to fixing our economy. Not making new mixtures for platic

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

Bank notes are the responsibility of the Bank of England, which is independent of the Government and Parliament.

You could start a new petition asking the Government to urge the Bank of England not to change the content of £5 notes.
