Ban property factor fee's for owners on less than £30k per annum.
I recently purchased my first property earlier this year through the government's low cost housing scheme. Currently I pay £960 per annum for a property management company to look after my building. I think this is too much to be paying for the services that we are provided.
The services that the property management companies are meant to provide are:
Car Park Maintenance
Cleaning
Grounds Maintenance
Window Cleaning
I could probably count on one hand the amount of times I've seen them at my property carrying out maintenance. Work Colleagues and Friends that I've spoken to about this have also experienced a similar service some of which pay even more than myself. Which is a disgrace considering this is meant to be "low cost housing"
