Compulsory cardiac screenings (once every 6 months) for those who do any sport.
Some people have have died whilst part taking in sports, such as Robin Chard aged 48 who died of cardiac arrest whilst cycling to raise money for a cancer charity.
These are only a few examples listed, but if we had routine cardiac screenings these incidents would have been caught earlier and treatment would have been provided.
