No non uk passport holders to vote in future referendums in the UK
In 2014 non UK passport holders were allowed to vote in the independence referendum in Scotland while Scots outside Scotland couldn't vote at all. If there is a new referendum for breaking up the UK it should be for UK passport holders only.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We are not sure whether you want to stop people who do not hold UK passports voting in all future referendums in the UK, or just in referendums about breaking up the UK.
In addition, some UK passport holders will be below the legal voting age, and we're not sure whether you would like under-18s to be able to vote in future referendums as well.
