UK passport holders only allowed to vote in elections and referendums in the UK.

Petition Details

In future votes in elections and referendums in the UK people without UK passports should not be able to vote. These decision should be up to the people with UK passports only.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Some UK passport holders are below the legal voting age. We're not sure whether you would like under-18s to be able to vote in future referendums and elections as well.
