Owners of UK media should be registered to vote and pay taxes within the UK.
Our democracy requires balanced and accountable news media. Part of the 'fit and proper person' test for owning a significant portion of our media should be that they are eligible to vote and pay taxes, so that they, like the rest of us, are fully part of the political environment they help shape.
