MP's annual pay rises be directly linked to increases in National Minimum Wage!
MP's award themselves (IPSA) pay rises which in %age terms far outstrip the wage increases to the ordinary man on the street such as minimum wage earners. MP's annual pay rises have constantly outstripped those they award to other public servants for the past 50 years e.g. Prison Officers.

Over the last Parliament, MPs’ pay increased by 2%, compared to 5% in the public sector and 10% in the whole economy.
Teachers, nurses and other public sector workers are facing pay rises capped at 1% until 2019.
