Divert some foreign aid to ease social care crisis.
The Prime Minister has come under pressure after the Government neglected to boost spending for social care in the recent Autumn Statement.
There are now moves to ease short-term funding problems by allowing local authorities in England to bring forward council tax increases totalling six per cent over the next two years. Our annual budget in 2020 for foreign aid is over 15 billion. The shortfall for the same year for social care is 2 and a half million. The government needs to look after our elderly and vulnerable people as well.
