Prevent terrorist lorry attacks using temporary concrete stanchions.
Temporary concrete stanchions at public events and locations prevent terrorist lorry attacks. All UK locations where significant numbers of people are gathered in small spaces must be temporarily or permanently protected by suitable lorry stopping devices.

To not do so is pure ignorance. The argument that they are an eyesore is invalid, you can dress them up like Santa or Snowmen. Whatever is in keeping with the event.
