End the prosecution of soldiers for causing deaths in armed conflicts

Petition Details

All deaths caused in armed conflicts are the responsibility of the politicians who sent the soldiers into combat.
Malicious compensation-seekers and profiteering lawyers should not be allowed to pursue allegations of wrongful death.

Additional Information

Recent cases of soldiers who served during the Irish troubles, Iraq and Afghanistan being threatened with legal action.
A soldier currently serving time in prison for killing a mortally wounded enemy combatant.
A Chelsea Pensioner being interrogated for four hours about a long ago incident.
Tony Blair escaping any prosecution for the lies, false documents and manipulation of Parliament that resulted in the deaths of British soldiers and the Iraqi civilians killed during the conflict. If he is not held responsible in court, no soldier should be.
