Will foreign footballers and managers be able to work in the UK after Brexit?

Petition Details

I am concerned that in the Brexit negotiations there will be no provision for the free movement into the UK of non-UK football players and club managers.

Additional Information

According to a FA commission about 65% of football players and managers involved in the UK leagues are non-UK residents. If negotiations on free movement of non-UK workers - such as nurses, care workers, teachers, plumbers, fruit and vegetable pickers etc. - are reduced, or even curtailed, after Brexit, might this not also effect the number of non-UK football players able to take up posts on our football teams? This is very worrying. We need clarity on this matter.
