Allow an English referendum for England to become independent from Scotland
English people should be given the right to vote on how we want our country to be forged for future generations of English people and just as the people of Scotland were allowed to vote for independence, so should the people of England be allowed to vote for their own independence.
We should be given the right to decide how we want our own country to develop for future generations of English people Scotland has already had one referendum and many Scottish MP's are seeking a second, yet the English electorate has had no say on how we would like our country to develop The voice of England has not been heard, we have not been given a chance to have our say on what is an important issue for the whole of the UK, have your say today, show your support by signing this petition.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear whether you would like there to be a referendum on England becoming independent from the rest of the UK, or a referendum on Scotland leaving the UK.
