Statutory Adoption Pay/Allowance for the self employed

Additional Information

I would like the Government to introduce a Statutory Adoption Allowance for the self employed.

I think it is very unfair that a self employed women can claim a Maternity Allowance if she gets pregnant, but if a self employed women, like myself, adopts a baby, she is not entitled to anything.
