Petition Action

To recognize Parental Alienation Syndrome as a punishable crime under UK Law.

Petition Details

Parental Alienation needlessly denies children the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with not just the alienated parent but also their wider family-grandparents, aunties, cousins etc
It occurs when one parent purposely denies a child the opportunity to form a relationship with the other.

Additional Information

Brazil,Italy and Mexico recognize #parentalalienation as a crime. Why doesn't the UK?
Every child deserves the right to both parents if both are willing to offer their love to that child. ParentalAlienation denies a child that basic human right -'The deliberate manipulation of a childs mind'.
20,000+ children a year may be affected by Alienation in the UK, however it is not recognized in the UK courts. 5% of children involved in separation will experience it.
