Make a dog killing another dog an illegal act
Teddy was a bichon frise dog who was attacked and killed by a staffy cross dog who broke through a hole in a garden fence and snatched teddy out of his owners arms and broke his neck and punctured his lung, killing him instantly.
The punishment given for this was only given because teddy's owner felt threatened by the other dog and was only the implementation of a community control order. This dog has killed a beloved family pet and cause severe emotional trauma to his owner and yet the other dog is still allowed to live and the owner of remains relatively unpunished. We are petitioning that the law be changed so that nobody else should endure this and that dog ownership means consequences for actions like this.
