stop employers disciplining and dismissing employees for sickness absence whilst waiting for treatment on the nhs

Additional Information

We call on the government to make changes to employment and equality laws banning employers from disciplining and or dismissing employees for sickness absence relating to their conditon whilst they are on an nhs waiting list for treatment for their illness.We feel it is unfair and morally wrong that employers are routinely disciplining employees for sickness absence when it is not the fault of the employee that they are often having to wait several months for treatment to alleviate their pain
