Create law stopping UK Gov creating laws contravening Founding Principles of NHS

Petition Details

The NHS is undermined to the core with the current internal market system and insidious privatisation. This new law will lead the NHS being rightfully placed above party politics, this will allow our greatest jewel to be renewed, reinvigorated and used and cherished by our nation as it should be.

Additional Information

The NHS as described by Nye Bevan:

to meet the needs of everyone;
to be free at the point of delivery;
to be based on clinical need, not ability to pay.

"No society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means."

Well, the reality is that this civilised nation's government is suffocating the NHS, and as a consequence, it is not able to meet the founding principles, instead offering trolleys in corridors for those who cannot pay.
