exploiting X Army vets over the troubles in Northern Ireland
I would like to ask for your support in going against the greedy lawyers who are raising the bar again to prosecute X soldiers who served in Northern Ireland and to get the government to bring this up in the Houses of Parliament and put a law in place to stop this ever happing again.
Some years ago, Our Government gave 156 Irish Terrorist exemption from prosecution for crimes committed by them during The Troubles.
In view of this I propose that the present Government give the same exemption from prosecution to Members of HM Forces, for any action carried out by them while On Service in N. Ireland during Op Banner.
I expect both the House of Commons and the House of Lords to ratify this proposal.
