Petition to obtain Matt Hampson a national award
Matt was a rugby player injured in a scrummaging practice accident for the England under 21 team & became a C4/5 tetraplegic in 2005.
Matt founded a charity after his accident & this was given full charity status in 2011.It provides anyone worldwide with spinal injuries advice,support or relief.
The Matt Hampson Foundation does incredible work worldwide to anyone with spinal injuries in sport.
Matt Is a true inspiration to many in the rugby community & through the foundation work has become well known outside rugby helping hundreds of people a year.Including everything from mentoring individuals to financial support & many other things.
The charity run many community events & are currently in the process of building a Get busy living centre to provide rehabilitation & physiotherapy
