The choices on offer on leaving the EU should be put to the people to vote on.
Those who voted leave seem to have done so for many different reasons and not just one central reason. The option to stay in the Customs Union / Single Market should not be made by the Government alone.
A poll on a single day which excluded the right to vote of circa 2m people who work and pay tax in this country and who will be seriously impacted by some of the choices on offer, should not determine the future. Their voices, along with the voices of 16m, who wanted to stay should be allowed a say in the determining what the future relationship with Europe looks like.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure which choices you would like the public to vote on.
If you would like a public vote on the final deal for the UK's exit from the EU, you could sign this petition:

If you would like a referendum with a different question, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what question you would like to be asked.
