Consider the impeachment of Theresa May for placing the UK economy at risk.
In her speech of January 17 2017 the Prime Minister set out the terms under which she chooses to leave the European Union. In plain migration control before the single market , with no mandate to do so, she has placed the people of the UK in danger of catastrophic economic consequences.

Most economists and publications such as The Economist and the FT are also wary of a Brexit without single market access
The current plight of the pound reflects international fears of a poor outlook for the UK in this scenario.
Recent good economic news does not reflect the likely outcome once we leave.
