Increase fines and jail sentences for animal cruelty, including dog fighting
The RSPA received 5000 calls re dog fighting in last few years, the tip of an iceburg. Yet if found guilty, offenders maximum prison sentence is 6 months. An insult. To to stop these horrific ordeals to fighting dogs and animals used as bait, sentences especially and fines must be greatly increased.
We can't allow animal cruelty to slip through the net. Anyone who harms an animal must be accountable.
