The margin was just over 1m of 33.5m voted/46.5m eligible; areas of high immigration voted remain; under 44 year olds voted remain (18-24: 73%, 25-34: 62; and 35-44 58%); Scotland and Northern Ireland voted remain.

Additional Information

MPs need to uphold their duty to act in the interests of the nation as a whole and claims of a 'decisive' vote are inaccurate
