Additional Information

The Government should make it mandatory to install CCTV in all slaughterhouses to enable slaughterhouse operators, the Food Standards Agency and independent parties to effectively monitor slaughter operations to ensure compliance with the legislative requirements on the welfare of animals at slaughter and to eliminate cruelty.
