Facebook Privacy Debate
We the undersigned believe a debate of Facebook policies and practices towards privacy, safety and ownership of personal data are overdue by the House.
We believe Facebook is in conflict with the principles of the Data Protection Act by making user data public without consent and not allowing users to have all their data removed from Facebook data farms at the written request of the user.
We believe Facebook is putting children at harm by not implementing the European wide safety button system and by the publishing and the sale of personal information (of its many tens of millions of members who are under the age of 18).
