The "Army 2020 Refine" strategy may relocate a Wrexham-based REME unit to Bristol.

Wrexham's proud to be a garrison town. The Armed Forces is an integral part of our history and culture.

There is no shortage of evidence to suggest that the Wrexham Community supports the Armed Forces.

Additional Information

A strong presence on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday is testament to the Wrexham Community’s high regard for the Armed Forces. In 2016, when veterans expressed a wish for their association standards to be preserved, the people of Wrexham recognised the importance of protecting our veterans' legacy, and raised almost £12,000 to make this possible.
