Make refusing parents access to their children a criminal offence.
When relationship break down children usually reside with the mother with the father given "time with their children.
Mothers often remove the fathers time with their children without notice and for no reason.
The reason they do this as they are rarely ever punished.
As 92% of children reside with their mother this petition will refer to the resident parent as mother and non resident parent as mother. If the mother removes the fathers time with his children the onus is on the father to take the mother to court to have his time reinstated which is often a long and expensive process. The law should change to protect the child's time with their father. The mother should have to file court papers within 48 hours of removing access or face a minimum penalty.
