Stop the spate of dead or dying Ponies dumped as poor bred a criminal offence

Petition Details

Spate of dead or dying horses being dumped is blamed on rising cost of keeping the animals - which can hit £10,000 a year. RSPCA finds 25 horses dead, dying or in poor condition since November
14 of the horses in Kent were dead on arrival and nine were put to sleep.

Additional Information

The rising cost of keeping animals has been blamed on an increasing number of dead or dying horses being dumped.
The RSPCA has revealed that since November last year, it has been called out to 21 incidents across Kent where they found 25 horses which were either dead, dying or in poor condition.
Some 14 of the horses were dead on arrival, nine had to be put to sleep due to their condition and only two survived and are recovering.
