UK Government must strongly condemn any moves to ban Muslims from entering US.
President Trump has signed an Executive Order banning entry to the US from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen for the next 90 days.
Already there are reports of law-abiding people being turned away from flights or stranded away from their families because of this ruling.
A number of human rights organisations have already expressed concern at these moves, particularly as the emphasis is on Muslim nations.
These include Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and Refugee Action.
We are calling on our Government to make it clear that as a nation we do not support and will not tolerate discrimination on the grounds of religion, sexuality, race, gender or disability.
