Government to condemn President Trump's travel bans for Islamic nationals.
We, the undersigned, call upon Her Majesty's Government to condemn in the strongest possible terms President Trump's recent entry bans on citizens from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Sudan and Somalia – including those Brits with dual nationality – irrespective of any 'special relationship'.
On January 28, 2017, newly elected President of the United States Donald Trump issued an Executive Order banning entry for citizens of aforementioned nations, including those with dual nationality.
We call on the government to strongly condemn this action regardless of any 'special relationship' between our two countries, respecting the UN General Assembly Resolution 50/175 of 1996 on the right of all to travel freely.
