Cease special relationship and trade negotiations with Trump adminstration
The UK will not do deals or hold a favourable relationship with an administration which denies people the basic right to flee for their lives for safety based on where they come from. It is at odds with our national morals and we will not support it.
In history, when there have been moments of great unfairness and inequality when the people of the United Kingdom tried to stand up and defend the rights of those who did not have a voice, WW2 and suffrage, to name just two. We cannot allow this crucial point in history to be a moment we missed or will come to regret. If British values are democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs, how can we sit silent?
