reduce the deficit by taxing the rich no need to reduce public spending!
First of all make top earners pay more by raising the top rate of tax to 90% above earnings of £100,000.
Secondly no more bonuses in banks that are stae owned or partly stated owned. All that money goes to paying off the deficit.
clamp down on tax avoidance which costs this country £120 billion every year!
Intoduce a tobin Tax which would raise billions every year.
The richest 10% own about £5000 billion worth of assets a 10% on those assets would wipe off the deficit within a year!
