Put Patients First in Hospitals. Select our Matrons Direct.
Create by law a directly public elected Matron for each hospital in England, selected by the local residents with a National Insurance number, from the whole of a hospital’s catchment area.
This Act to end university trained nurses in wards and Critical Care and move them into specialist nursing. This Act to bring back State Enrolled Nurses for wards.
The directly public selected Matron to have as her support team:
1. one deputy matron per shift.
2. one sister per shift.
3. Enough State Enrolled Nurses (S.E.N.) on each shift to provide a legally enforceable basic level of service as a patient’s right in this law.
4. The support team to include the patient and patient’s family, who will be in charge of the carers as to the patient’s care.
This e petition to replace the other which only has my one signature on it.
