Illegal Immigrants and Sham Marriages
This petitions calls for the government to amend current UK legislation so that any illegal immigrant living in the UK would be unable to claim UK citizenship by marrying or by having a family with a UK or an EU national. Closing this legal 'loop hole' would prevent a wide range of criminal activities ranging from people trafficking and slavery, to bribery and extortion.
