The Government will debate any Petition reaching 1 million votes.
The petition reaching 1 million votes will be debated in the full House of Commons and the House of Lords. Currently any petition reaching 100,000 votes may be considered for debate.
When a petition has been signed by 1 million voters, the strength of feeling needs to be acknowledged and properly debated.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
