Allow all children from all social backgrounds the same pre - school education.
At the moment kids who come from families who do not claim benifits are discriminated against as they are not afforded the opportunity to enter nursery until they are above the age of 3. Kids with parents on benifits get in from the age of 2. All children deserve the same chance in life regardless.
By having a separate age entry system we are essentially saying that all kids who have parents on benifits require an early start in life and all kids with parents not on benifits do not need this early opportunity.
This is fundamentally typecasting everyone. How a child develops will vary from family to family and as such, all children should have the same start in life.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
If you are concerned about access to free childcare, you could start a new petition asking the UK Government or Parliament to provide free childcare and education for all 2-year-olds.
