Allocate the Crown Prosecution Service funding to reinstate the Legal Traineeship Scheme
A petition requesting that the Government allocate funds to the CPS in order to help the CPS provide Training Contracts to those who have completed their Legal Practice Course and require a Training Contract- with the legal traineeship scheme not in place for the last few years- the Government could help provide the resources needed to take on trainees- the chances of acquiring a Training Contract are very bleak for LPC graduates- and the CPS were recognised for their outstanding trainee scheme- it is important to bring new talent into the field and moreso where an interest in Criminal Law in junior lawyers is fading with cuts to legal aid etc.- bringing new talent to the CPS can bring much interest and passion back into the Criminal Law.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
