Allow UK nationals to individually opt-in to remain EU citizens.
Guy Verhofstadt and other senior EU negotiators have suggested that UK nationals who wished to retain their rights as EU citizens could be allowed to individually opt-in and remain EU citizens as a proposal in Brexit negotiations.
This option has been suggested by senior EU negotiators and should be welcomed as a useful option that will ease the distress and dismay of millions who do not want to lose their European identity.
