Petition Action

Strip the BBC of the TV licensing fee.

Petition Details

The BBC has not been able to provide the UK with unbiased media coverage and promotes its own agendas. They are increasingly in breach of its own editorial guidelines for Impartiality & Charter & Agreement. We believe that the £3.7 billion can be used for better uses i.e Cutting the deficit by 5.6%

Additional Information

The Agreement accompanying the BBC Charter requires them to do all the can to ensure controversial subjects are treated with due impartiality in thir news and other output dealing with matters of public policy or political or industrial controversy. But go further than that, applying due impartiality to all subjects.

BBC cannot do this as it premotes its own agendas.

This tax can be put do better uses like cutting U.K. deficit or collected locally for social care.
