Petition Action

We call for a motion of no confidence in the current British government.

Petition Details

The government's response to recent events has shown it not to be either willing or able to represent the British people or to uphold our values.
In its dealings domestically and internationally it is failing to live up to its moral obligations either to the British or to vulnerable people abroad.

Additional Information

The Conservative government is pushing ahead with Brexit despite there being no mandate to do so, either at the time of the referendum or since.

Downing St. refuses even to debate the petition against Trump's state visit, despite 1.6m signatories so far.

Teresa May is failing to do her moral duty to hold the Trump administration to account on many pressing issues, despite having the opportunity to do so.

We therefore call for a motion of no confidence in the current government to be debated.
