Improve mental health research, in schools, throughout the UK
Mental Health research and the way to deal with it within school environments have recently been very poor. Mental health seems to be the major cause of bullying in schools while people suffer in silence and are too scared to tell anyone or explain how they feel.
1 in 3 people in the UK suffer from mental health issues and the government feel it's okay to 'brush it under the carpet' while children can't achieve their expected grades and can't turn to anyone for help. It clearly puts them at a disadvantage with other children and are capable of more than what their teachers claim them to be.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure what you mean by "Improve mental health research". You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
