'Hear My Voice Campaign' - Giving older and other more vulnerable patients respect & dignity

Additional Information

This petition supports the Townswomen's Guilds' 'Hear My Voice' campaign, which calls for higher standards of care for elderly and other vulnerable patients during hospital stays.

As one of Britain's leading women's groups, and with a membership of over 30,000 ladies, we urge the Secretary of State for Health to ensure that every hospital has on its staff, or has access to, a consultant geriatrician to oversee the training of staff in the welfare of the elderly, frail and vulnerable patients under their care.
