Honour Pharmacy by restricting the number of Pharmacy schools & graduates
Thousands of pharmacy graduates face the possibility of never registering due to the lack of pre-reg training placements available. As a result of the surplus supply of graduates. With many large multiples reducing their commitment to pre-reg training by 50%, making the situation considerably worse.
It is now vital for sweeping changes to be made. If the current approach is not addressed then sadly Pharmacy "strikes" maybe around the corner. As many dissatisfied professionals feel overworked & undervalued.
Pharmacy will end becoming an unattractive profession, one incapable of attracting the brightest & the best undergraduates & retaining the newly qualifieds. With supply exceeding demand & universities unethically profiting from it.
