Petition Action

Divided politically by the EU ref, should the UK itself now have a referendum.

Petition Details

The 2014 Scottish vote was 55 - 45 to stay in the UK, a fairly close result. The EU referendum has now highlighted a political divide within all of the UK. Is it now time to let each part of the union decide its own future and which path it wishes to take, be it part of the EU,UK or independent.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
