Ask for "Associate EU Citizenship" during upcoming BREXIT negotiations
48.11% of the UK population voted to remain within the EU. Please give those wishing to, the opportunity to live and work in EU member states. This should only be an "opt in" for those wanting to keep the benefits of living within the EU family and would not affect those who do not want to do so.
This is regarding the proposal by the liberal MEP Guy Verhofstadt, the European Parliament's top BREXIT negotiator, to offer UK nationals the option of keeping rights such as the freedom of movement in the EU and a vote in European elections, perhaps by paying an individual fee in order to do so.
This is a very reasonable proposal for the large percentage of the UK population who have grown up within the EU family and want the opportunity and benefit of living and/or working with our EU cousins
