Cambridgeshire economy desperate for investment in the A14
After four consecutive days of major problems on the A14 in Cambridgeshire, at unprecedented cost to the local and regional economy, we call for the Government to implement the essential upgrading of the A14 without delay.
Accidents, lorry fires and breakdowns bring one of the Eastern region's major routes to a standstill on a regular basis. Employees are regularly late for work, deliveries are delayed, sales appointments are missed.
Enough is enough. If our economy is to grow, we need action. Now.
