Petition Action

The NHS needs to be safeguarded before Article 50 is triggered.

Petition Details

The NHS must be legally protected before the UK triggers Article 50 to leave the European Union.

Regardless of future trade deals the NHS must remain in the public sector, free from privatisation & able to provide free health care for all of the people of the United Kingdom.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you would like the Government to do.

You may wish to sign this petition, which calls for the NHS to be ring-fenced from trade deals:

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/178082

Alternatively, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
