Prevent the headquarters of the London Stock Exchange moving to Germany.
The German Stock Exchange (Bors) is attempting to take control of the London Stock Exchange and move the headquarters to Frankfurt. This represents the stripping of vital national assets in an attempt to undermine the position of London as the world's leading financial centre.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The London Stock Exchange is a private company. The location of its Headquarters is a decision for its board and shareholders, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You may be aware that there was a recent debate in Parliament about the London Stock Exchange.
