Any type of Visa that is issued should include a charge for health insurance
The NHS is being abused by health tourists. We struggle to recover payments for treatments carried out. An upfront charge for health insurance should apply to all visa applications, to cover the duration of the Visa. Any renewals or extensions the same rule would apply.
We must stop the influx of heavily pregnant foreign women who fly in at the last minute for maternity care.
Doctors can no longer complain about Government funding while shrugging their shoulders at these abuses.
